• Send you payment notifications via Telegram (only if you opt in)

• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Passwords hashed with bcrypt (never stored in plain text)
• Stripe API keys encrypted at rest using AES-256
• HTTP-only secure cookies for session management
• Regular security audits and dependency updates

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

PayLens integrates with the following third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing for PayLens subscriptions. Stripe's privacy policy applies to data processed through their platform: stripe.com/privacy
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy
• Telegram — optional notification delivery. Telegram's privacy policy applies: telegram.org/privacy
• Resend — transactional email delivery

These services have access only to the data necessary to perform their specific functions.

PayLens uses cookies strictly for functional purposes:

• Session cookie — keeps you logged in during your session
• Workspace cookie — remembers your active workspace

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Transaction data fetched from your connected Stripe account is not permanently stored — it is retrieved in real time from Stripe's API when you view your dashboard.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to certain types of data processing

8. Children's Privacy

PayLens is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the dashboard. Your continued use of PayLens after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
